Nuts are seeds full of delicate oils. When monsoon air sneaks into a half-open pouch, those oils oxidise and the crunch collapses into chew. Storage is half the product experience.
Rules we teach every Royal customer
- Transfer opened packs into airtight glass or steel within a day.
- Keep away from spices with strong aromas — nuts absorb neighbours.
- For stocks beyond six weeks, freeze in sealed bags; thaw sealed to avoid condensation.
- Never store above the stove or near a dishwasher vent.
Signs it is time to retire a batch
A paint-like smell, rubbery bite, or visible bloom of moisture means discard. Fresh Royal packs should smell clean and sweet — like the orchard, not the cupboard.
